Welcome to the ManicGeek Deals and Bargains folder. What we hope to do is post bargains found as we travel around the internet. If you see something you think is a real deal, start a thread and let us all know about it. We do have a few guidelines we would like you to follow so we can avoid duplication and make it easier to find today's bargains.
1. Please post the product name and the applicable dates in the thread title. An example would be a thread titled, "ASUS M3N78 Pro 11-29-08"
2. Limit the thread posts to things in or related to the technology field. This could include home theater equipment, PC's, PC hardware and software, digital cameras, cell phones, PDA's, etc.
3. Try to make the posts applicable to as many people as possible. A sale at your local Mom and Pop store wouldn't help many of us unless they also do on-line sales.
4. Each item gets a new thread. We're going to try to keep the folder up to date, so we will be deleting posts as they age.
5. If you have technical information to share about a product, and we think it's worth keeping, we will move the thread to another folder. Don't hesitate to ask how something could be used, or to offer help on using a product. Many of the threads will just go away because the information is dated, but helpful threads will be saved and moved.
6. No spamming! No posts by commercial interests. This folder is for members to share bargains we find online. We reserve the right to edit or delete posts that either don't fit the folder theme or appear to be spam.
7. Protect your privacy. No copies should be posted. If you get an e-mail with a great deal in it, tell us about it in your own words and give us a link to the item page. Don't copy and paste it, and don't link to your inbox.
