This is 15 foot Eastern Diamond back caught in or near St Augustine, FL. Supposedly the largest rattler ever seen.
I saw one years ago near the firing range at MacDill AFB, Tampa that was about 10 foot long but 15. Holy shit!
I wish there was something in the photo of the fangs that could be used to gauge their size.Reply

Saw one about 8' long from the balcony of my daughters apt. in Tampa last year, that was big enough and close enough for me.Reply
